Housed in a 1948 building designed by architect Samuel Bickels – the first structure in Israel to be designed and constructed specifically as a museum – Mishkan Le’omanut is widely regarded as one of Israel’s best art galleries. Natural, indirect light sources contribute to the unique atmosphere of the museum, which is located on Kibbutz Ein Harod and commands a breathtaking view of the Jezreel Valley. Mishkan Le’omanut hosts regular changing exhibitions of work by Israeli and overseas artists.
